Return Authorization Request

We are committed to providing the best customer satisfaction possible. Except for items noted below, within 14 days of your order, you may return products that:
  • Are in their original packaging
  • Have original manufacturer information
  • Are not used, installed, or disassembled
  • Are not damaged due to incorrect installation
  • Do not having missing parts, hardware or instructions
The following orders are not returnable:
  • Any Electrical Parts (E) and Components (Such as: ECU's, control modules, switches, relays, air mass meters, etc)
  • High Performance (HP), Genuine Audi (GA), Special Order (SO) parts, or Fuel System (FS) parts
  • Automotive repair manuals, CD ROM or Paper Versions
  • Turbochargers
  • VAG COM or ProDiag Interfaces
Returns that are not a result of a SJM Autotechnik error will be assessed a 25% restocking fee ($10 minimum).

See below for completing the Return Authorization (RA) request form. Once we have received your return, conducted an inspection of the return, and verified that your return meets the above guidelines, a partial refund will be issued. The cost of shipping will be credited only in those instances that the return is a result of our error. C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted.

Items incorrectly shipped to SJM Autotechnik will not be returned. Items not purchased from SJM Autotechnik will not be accepted.

Core Returns
If you would like to return an item associated with a core return value, this must be done before we receive your core back into our system. To return a core item, please submit your request through our
Returns form. Please note:
  • All fluids must be drained from the core
  • The core must be securely wrapped in plastic and sealed
  • Cores must be returned in the packaging used in the shipment of the order sent to you
  • Your core will be inspected to determine if the core is rebuild-able
  • Core return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. These are not refundable.
Damaged Products
If your product has been damaged in shipment, please complete our Return Authorization request form below within 48 hours of receipt of your product to begin the returns process. We'll then contact you via email with further instructions on filing your claim.
